Abstract

The emergence of websites featuring movies, books, merchandise, music, and other content has led to the existence of recommendation algorithms for some time. There are several methods utilized in the heart of a recommender system, but it is not customizable by the user. Two of these strategies, content-based filtering and collaborative filtering, are used in this movie recommender system. Users have the option to select one of the two options and alter the criteria that influence the recommendations based on their personal tastes.
