Abstract

Recommendation algorithms have long existed because of the rise of websites with movies, books, products, music, and other types of content. A recommender system's core employs a number of techniques, but the user cannot modify them. This movie recommender system employs two of these techniques: collaborative filtering and content-based filtering. Users can choose between the two choices and modify the factors that determine the suggestions according to their preferences.
