Abstract

In the last few decades, the chances of forgery in an image have been increased with the advancement in digital camera having high resolution and with the availability of several image processing software's. These manipulations sometime are so pioneering that it is very difficult to detect forgery in the image. The proficiency to identify image forgery is present day research scenario. Therefore, the main emphasis of this research is to study numerous types of detection techniques for forgery for digital images using Deep Learning. The results may be compared to improve or generate a new approach for a future Machine Learning based forensic science investigation. The aim of the study is to learn about the work done in the detection of these forgeries using deep learning technique. This study also reviews the challenges faced by existing techniques and focuses on proposing few techniques which can be applied in future.
