The "Quadruped Robot" project aims to provide an affordable and unmanned locomotory device which mimics the natural moment of a crawler, and which is easily portable with modular attachment and so much more. The proposed device is designed to resemble a spider structure with just 4 legs and uses an Arduino Uno and a metal gear motor driver mounted on an in-house fabricated parts with integrated Wi-Fi module for remote control through IOT cloud. The device comprises a four-legged spider imitating robot that can traverse uneven terrain and a camera which is wirelessly integrated with a communication and transmission system. The device is cost-effective, efficient, modular, and easy to transport, making it accessible to countries with low economic structures. The proposed system provides an asset through being useful in use cases like multi terrain exploration, Unmanned border monitoring, Defense uses and also can be used in multiple other use cases with modular attachments like robotic arm, lidar, etc. The device's ability to blend in with the environment makes it an effective cheaper device for multipurpose use cases.
