Abstract

In modern era, remarkable industrial growth has significantly increased the importance of consistent supply of electrical energy to the industry as well as domestic consumers. Protection of power system equipment is of vital importance for reliable energy utilization in all sectors. In this research work a very innovative model based approach for performance analysis of various practical protection schemes has been developed using Simulink. Furthermore this novel approach has bee validated with practical case study.
