Wide-Area Monitoring and Control (WAMC) is a novel concept that enables real-time monitoring and control of power systems across a wide geographic area. This paper focuses on developing a WAMC system using MATLAB, a powerful programming language. The system utilizes advanced data analytics, machine learning algorithms, and communication protocols to collect and process data from various sources, such as power substation, transmission lines, and distribution networks. The abstract is a comprehensive overview of the concept, potential benefits, and feasibility of WAMC in improving the reliability, efficiency, and sustainability of power systems.
